The International Cricket Council has added four new players to the men’s T20 World Cup. Therefore, the ICC T20 World Cup 2022 Event Technical Committee has approved four player replacements. Dushmantha Chameera has been replaced in the Sri Lankan squad by Kasun Rajitha after he suffered a torn left calf muscle. Four player substitutions were given the go light by the ICC T20 World Cup 2022 Event Technical Committee. So, after Dushmantha Chameera tore his left calf muscle, he was replaced in the Sri Lankan squad by Kasun Rajitha.

Although Rajitha calls Sri Lanka home for the time being, he hopes to soon relocate to Australia. So, Danushka Gunathilaka, who has a torn left hamstring, will be replaced by the traveling reserve, Ashen Bandara.

Unfortunately for the United Arab Emirates, Zawar Farid’s squad position has been eliminated due to a fractured left foot. Plus, in his place is Fahad Nawaz, the team’s backup player. Finally, English player Tymal Mills will sub in for the injured Reece Topley (left ankle) in Australia. Mills has arrived early.
