Imad Wasim disclosed a Conversation with Shaheen Afridi in ILT20. During their involvement in the current International League T20 (ILT20), former Pakistan all-rounder Imad Wasim has made it clear that he and Pakistan T20I captain Shaheen Afridi did not discuss Wasim’s possible return to the national side. In an interview with a regional sports website, the 35-year-old gave his younger rival some advice, emphasizing that Shaheen should follow his gut and put Pakistan’s welfare first.
“Shaheen resembles my younger sibling. I believe he should prioritize what is best for Pakistan and approach everything with sincerity. He’s surrounded by people who can make wise recommendations for him,” Imad remarked. Imad Wasim Discloses Conversation with Shaheen Afridi in ILT20
Imad shared his thoughts on Pakistan’s 4-1 loss in the Twenty20 International series against New Zealand. He commented on Babar Azam’s successful transition to the one-down role, scoring three straight fifties.”Babar did a great job adjusting to batting at one down. He hit three consecutive fifty-scores. If Rizwan is asked to bat down the order, he should also adjust accordingly, Imad added.

“Shaheen made a wise decision by experimenting with several opening combos. Before the World Cup, he should keep trying combinations that benefit him. They can revert to Babar and Rizwan as the opening pair if the new lineups prove ineffective,” he said.
It should be mentioned that after an eight-year career, Imad declared his retirement from international cricket last year. Imad, 34, debuted for Pakistan against Zimbabwe in May 2015 and went on to play in 55 matches and 66 T20S.
