He’s certainly feeling improved today.” When asked if Gill would participate against Australia, Dravid emphasized that the medical team had not yet ruled him out, adding, “We will continue to assess him daily and determine his status in the coming days.” In the event that Gill is unable to play against Australia, Ishan Kishan, another young talent, may partner with skipper Rohit Sharma at the top of India’s batting order, while the experienced KL Rahul remains another viable option.
