One of their best all-around players, Mitchell Marsh, could not be able to participate because of an injury he sustained before the game. During the pre-game press conference, Sourav Ganguly, the Delhi Capitals’ director of cricket, confirmed the news. He did not, however, disclose the nature of Marsh’s injuries or the expected length of his recovery.
