PCB restored Haris Rauf’s contract after he accepted his mistake

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has restored Haris Rauf’s contract after the bowler “conceded his mistake” in writing. The PCB terminated Rauf’s agreement during Pakistan’s visit to New Zealand just before the start of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) in early February.

The decision was taken on disciplinary grounds when Rauf refused to go to Australia for the winter Tests, citing a heavy workload and his Large Slam contract. Naqvi stated that Haris, in his response, stated that he was always committed to playing for Pakistan and that his perspective had been misinterpreted, but he admitted his error.
