PSL 9 Team of the Tournament confirmed without Azam Khan. Surprisingly, Azam Khan of Islamabad United is not included in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season nine Team of the Tournament.
The site was chosen by the panel headed by Director International PCB Usman Wahla, which also included independent members Tariq Saeed, Mark Butcher, Danny Morrison, and Urooj Mumtaz.
Although the 25-year-old was selected as the Tournament Wicketkeeper of the Year, he was left out of the starting lineup, which included Multan Sultans skipper Mohammad Rizwan as the 12th man.

Shadab Khan, who led United to their third PSL championship, was elected captain as the team won PSL 9. Due to his all-around performance, which comprised 305 runs and 14 wickets from 12 matches, he was also voted player of the tournament.
In addition to Shadab, two players from Islamabad United, Imad Wasim and Naseem Shah, were included in the HBL PSL 9 roster. Imad was a key player in United’s successful PSL 9 campaign. In the Monday final, he took five wickets in four overs and went undefeated at 17 balls to help his team defeat Multan Sultans by two wickets.
