England makes changes to the squad for the India Test. Due to a back issue, Emma Lamb has withdrawn from the Test squad, prompting the inclusion of Maia Bouchier and Kirstie Gordon for the Mumbai Test. England’s Emma Lamb, an all-rounder, had to step out due to a back problem, necessitating her return to the UK for consultation with a spinal specialist regarding her future steps.

In response to Lamb’s absence, middle-order batter Maia Bouchier and left-arm spinner Kirstie Gordon have been named in the Test squad. Bouchier, though inexperienced in Test matches, brings a record from three ODIs and 22 T20Is. Meanwhile, Gordon, with one Test appearance against Australia in Taunton, recently contributed to England ‘A’s triumph in a three-game T20I series against India.
