PSL 9 Recognizes Golden Ribbon Day for Childhood Cancer Awareness. In accordance with an initiative by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL) 9 will dedicate a day to ‘Golden Ribbon Day’ on Tuesday, raising awareness for childhood cancer. Consequently, the match between Quetta Gladiators and Multan Sultans scheduled for March 12 at the Pindi Cricket Stadium will be imbued with the significance of Golden Ribbon Day, aiming to increase understanding about childhood cancer.

Both teams will don golden ribbons and caps, with commentators also adorning golden ribbons. Messages regarding childhood cancer awareness will be prominently displayed on the big screen and announced during commentary. Additionally, the PCB extended invitations to four cancer patients to attend the Golden Ribbon Day event in Karachi, where they were presented with signed shirts from both teams as a gesture of support and solidarity.
